Cardboard Trench Knife

Materials

• Cardboard
• Hotglue
• Comicbacks(cereal box board is a fair sub for backs)
• Paints
• Trench knife template

Tools

• Glue Gun
• Exacto Knives
• Paint Brushes

Procedure

Steps one through four

Step 1:

Using the templates cut two of shape A and one of shape B from comic backs

Step 2:

Again using shape A cut out four pieces from cardboard

Step 3:

Hotglue the pieces of cardboard into a pair of blocks

Step 4:

Cut away a wedge from the inner side of the blade on each block

Steps five through seven

Step 5:

Hotglue the layers of comicbacks and cardbaord blocks together as seen here, just make sure the finger holes line up

Step 6:

Glue fill all of the flat edges including inside edges of the figer holes

Step 7:

Like the Cardboard katana tutorial put on a glue edge. With that the construction of your very own cardboard trench knives are complete, all that's left is to paint them.
